At Center For Change we are committed to treating the whole person in order to provide the best possible foundation for continuing to walk the path of recovery. With our comprehensive focus, we work to involve families and loved ones as much as possible in the inpatient and residential programs. To facilitate this, we offer a Family Week program and strongly encourage family members, spouses, and loved ones to take an active part.

Author, songwriter and inspirational speaker Jenni Schaefer will participate and teach at an intensive family therapy weekend experience during the months of March, June, September and December 2008 at Center for Change in Orem, Utah.

Center For Change offers substance abuse treatment for individuals struggling with both an eating disorder and chemical addiction issues.  Our substance abuse treatment is an integrated approach to help individuals recognize, avoid, and cope with situations that may trigger a desire to abuse substances.  Individuals will have an opportunity to engage in the treatment process, modify their attitudes and behaviors related to substance abuse, and increase healthy life skills.

Patients are asked to complete a comprehensive patient satisfaction survey when they complete their treatment at Center For Change. One question asked for a brief written response to the following question. “What was your Overall Experience at Center For Change?” To read responses by patients to this question.

We are excited to announce the new therapy book “Spiritual Approaches in the Treatment of Women with Eating Disorders”. This book has recently come off the press of the American Psychological Association (APA) publishers on August 1st, 2006. The authors of the new book are Scott Richards Ph.D., Randy Hardman Ph.D., and Michael E. Berrett Ph.D. All three authors are directors at Center For Change.
